Most monsters are built for lower level play in order to ensure that more players will get to experience them. Due to that, after about CR5, diversity in monsters reduces. These are the best of those monsters, from each challenge rating of 6 through 15; when these monsters are encountered in higher level games, they should provide a significant challenge
