In this video, we will be delving into the glamorous supermodel age of the 90s. When many think of fashion, a specific image comes to mind, a vibrant runway and beautifully crafted clothing by the world's most prestigious fashion designers. Showcased on captivating, charismatic, magnetic women with character and class to match the designer’s aesthetic vision. Women who just seem to have “it.” The factor goes beyond a person's appearance, transcending physical beauty to a radiance, which begs the question: what is the "it" factor?
We will be looking into the history of the supermodels from the big six to the photographers who defined the imagery of the supermodel, the aesthetics of the supermodel age to see how this was channeled in their looks, and the style as well as beauty practices that contribute to the “it" factor presence. With this, we will develop an understanding of the production to create as well as the unique factors the supermodels offered, resulting in the poised, alluring aura with such great magnitude.
