The beep of our local airport marker beacon that's about 3/4 of a mile down the road from me. Also the MW band tonight.
Just outside Herrin in Southern Illinois. 01:35 UTC (8:35 PM my local). RSPdx-R2 with SDRuno. Trying out my 1000 foot (305 meter) wire that I put up circling part of my back 40 acre field. The wire is about 10 feet off the ground. That's the highest I can get up with my ladder and the highest it will ever be even though I know the benefits of getting it higher. The coax I soldered to the wire is buried underground with a surge guard at both ends.
