Introducing the Centaur 40 Fast Start Gas Turbine

Our new Centaur 40 "Fast Start" gas turbine package is designed for rapid backup power for data centers. By leveraging a custom gearbox and two start motors from our Titan 130, the package can be running at full power in under 35 seconds!

Solar’s Centaur 40 offers a variety of features that will meet your data center energy needs, including:

Cold engine to full load in less than 35 seconds.
Accepts 100% load block without sacrificing power quality.
Fuel switching on the fly between diesel and natural gas for low emissions while maintaining uptime requirements.
Capable of renewable and hydrogen fuel blends.
Less than 15 parts per million by volume (ppmv) NOx, reducing permitting concerns.
