One of Copenhagen's most famous and iconic landmarks and a symbol of the city.
The statue can be reached by a 15-minute walk from Østerport Station. It is a popular site, so expect crowds, especially during peak seasons like summer.
{Amalienborg Palace}
Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen is the Danish Royal Family's winter residence. Stunning Rococo complex of four identical palaces around an octagonal courtyard, featuring the equestrian statue of founder King Frederick V. Originally built for nobles, the Royal Family moved in after a fire in 1794, and today, the complex serves as both a royal home (King Frederik X and Queen Mary reside in Frederik VIII's Palace) and a museum, with daily changing of the guard ceremonies.

Nyhavn ("New Harbor") is Copenhagen's iconic 17th-century waterfront, famous for its brightly colored 17th/18th-century townhouses, historic wooden ships, bustling canals, and vibrant mix of cafes, bars, and restaurants, offering a picturesque spot to enjoy Danish culture, history(home to Hans Christian Andersen), and canal tours, blending a lively entertainment district with a charming maritime atmosphere.
