Train 149, a westbound CPKC Autorack/Intermodal train from Bensenville, IL to Vancouver, BC, rumbled through South Haven during the early morning of 26 January 2026 pulling 172 cars (34 autoracks and 138 wells). The train was lead by rebuilt GE AC4400CWM CP 8062 with mid dpu GE ES44AC CP 8740 plus rear dpu GE ES44AC CP 8741. Having both a mid dpu and a rear dpu on the same train on this particular line is very rare usually its either a mid dpu or rear dpu not both.
149 was 12,270 ft (2.32 miles) long.
