Due to the event organisers taking on too many supporting series, there wasn’t enough time to run the actual time attack schedule, therefore, all the lower club classes had to go out on circuit at the same time.
Terminal speeds were vastly different, this in addition to some poor driving standards from the Porsche, here are the results.
Very lucky for everyone to walk away, a similar accident just weeks later at the same spot ended with a fatality.
