Laura and Birkan's first meeting in Turkey is a DISASTER! Birkan has the ick. He's more excited by the apartment she's rented than seeing her (but then again he is currently homeless!). When the pair do finally meet, Birkan completely shuts down - he won't look at her, he barely speaks, and he prefers to watch TV than sleep with Laura! Super super awkward...
Meanwhile, Lisa and Daniel are setting themselves up for an even bigger disaster. Lisa's heading to Nigeria with a MOUNTAIN of secrets - she's been married five times not twice, she's still technically married to a woman, and she's been in same-sex relationships for 21 years not just "physical with a woman" once like she told Daniel. Daniel literally admits he loves Lisa because she "supports me financially" which is wild considering Lisa's in debt from sending him money she doesn't have! Her daughter Faith is watching this unfold knowing her mom will probably break her promise to her and marry Daniel on this trip and your heart has to bleed for Faith. She's already preparing to pick up the pieces again. Both these relationships are doomed before they've properly started!
