Footage shows ‘execution press’ mechanism in Sednaya prison

Footage from Bashar al-Assad’s Sednaya prison shows the “Iron Execution Press” which was reportedly used by the Syrian regime to crush inmates after their execution.

The military prison near Damascus, nicknamed the “human slaughterhouse”, fell into the hands of the rebels on Saturday as Bashar al-Assad’s rule came to an end. Fighters managed to free hundreds of inmates, including women and young children.
