Building the cigar box bouzouki resonator

When there's something i want, i make it. Usually its something that would be either really expensive or custom made anyway so why not do it yourself eh? This is an old cutlery box that's been taking up space for years and an old strat copy that got fairly trashed by the last owner and a restored neck that was covered in paint and stickers.

Its basic points are a single coil pickup, tone and vol controls, boat style pickup, 8 strings (in pairs tuned DGBE), Dog food bowl resonator (hand etched and hammered), two internal egg cup resonators for the lols, two sink strainer sound holes.

It was a fairly simple build with a few wee quirks and similar enough to how everyone else makes them to be fairly unremarkable but as a unique folk instrument its great and has a twangy banjo style sound but with more sustain and the dog food bowl resonator gives it a natural buzzy overdrive sound when you play loud.

could have given a better performance at the end but its hard to know what to play.
