PTS Ep. 210 - Custom PC Overview and Power Supply Modification

Now that we swapped the HDD to an SSD, it's time to reassemble the custom PC that was featured in episode 209. We also have to modify the PSU to accommodate another SATA power plug.

This PC was custom-built by Chris a number of years ago as a studio PC, whose sole purpose was to record and edit audio. Unfortunately the project never came to light and he ended up selling off all of his equipment.

The PC is built from the following parts:

Biostar G41 DCI Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.34GHz 1333 FSB Socket LGA775 CPU
Nvidia GeForce 6800 PCI-E Graphics Card
Lynx Audio AES16 PCI Card
Samsung 850 EVO SATAIII SSD
8GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
