‘Crazy woke left just ruining things’: Iconic WWII photo ban to be overruled

The US Veterans Affairs Secretary has reversed a memo that banned the iconic ‘V-J Day in Times Square’ photograph.

Denis McDonough announced the decision to walk back the memo on the social media platform X, saying in a post: “Let me be clear: This image is not banned from VA facilities – and we will keep it in VA facilities.”

The photo depicts a Navy sailor kissing a woman he didn’t know on the street at the end of World War II.

Sky News contributor Joe Hildebrand says the decision to ban the iconic photo is another example of “the crazy woke left just ruining things for everybody”.

Mr Hildebrand slammed the decision to ban the image in the first place, saying the photo gets “wiped away by some stupid, faceless, humourless bureaucrat who doesn’t even realise how psycho, humourless, and faceless they are”.
