On May 8th and 9th, two chicks fell out of the nest. We received some useful information from our viewers in the comments section about what happened after that, so we would like to share it with you.

"The people at the cathedral went out to get the chick and put it back in the nest, but what bothered me was that Mum Peggy wasn't feeding the smaller chick.
The article that the cathedral posted said that they didn't want to put the chick back a second time & that the chick may have been sick, that's why mum had stopped feeding it.
They took the dead chick's remains to be tested.
This pair has successfully raised four chicks at a time in the past, but this is definitely a bad year for the falcons.
This article popped up when I googled the cathedral and Perigean falcon. I hope this helps."

This is the nest of a pair of peregrine falcons that live in Worcester Cathedral, towering over the River Severn in England.
Dad's name is Peter and Mom's name is Peggy.
