"We have lost visual contact... do you read? I repeat, do you read?" is what's said on the television set in the post-credits, unintelligible when watching the film normally. Not sure if anyone has figured out if it's from something else originally, but Nyle hears it over the phone earlier. On a surface-level, I think this ending is supposed to imply the Arboria Institute has further-reaching tendrils than we presume from the understaffed sector we're familiar with during the runtime. I've heard some theories that the whole thing takes place in the mind of a child playing with the Sentionaut figure but to me it's all real. Elena is likely approaching the house where the child with this figure lives, given the glowing we see from the window. Sentionauts might be commercialized in this universe to the point of having action figures, super creepy.
