About the Keynote Speaker: Michael Sims
Michael Sims is a retired United States Marine who served 21 years—including combat duty during Desert Storm—before continuing his service in our community. Elected to the Clayton Town Council in 2021 and chosen by his colleagues to serve as Mayor Pro Tem, he’s a champion for veterans, a voice for engagement, and a steady example of servant leadership. He is also the author of Leading from the Front.
