What is a cockney? who is a cockney? Where does it come from? Why does it sound as it does? We'll answer these questions. We'll look at immigration into London (especially the East End) and see how it's shaped the accent. We'll look at famous "cockneys". Where do they come from are they really cockneys? And more.... This is a thorough investigation into the London accent and the cockney subculture.
