Glasgow Central is the northen terminus of the famous West Coast Main Line, running from London Euston via Birmingham New Street as well as other big cities and towns inbetween. Other lines that start and finish at Glasgow Central are the Ayrshire Coast Line, the Cathcart Circle Line, The East Kilbride Line, the Glasgow to Edinburgh via Shotts line, the Glasgow to Edinburgh via Carstairs line, as well as the Lanark branch of the Argyle Line.
