Before Star Wars: Benioff and Weiss falling out with Martin over Game of Thrones

It recently became known that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss would no longer be making a Star Wars trilogy, and fans were, honestly, glad to see them gone. Not only did they drop the ball worse than any ball has ever been dropped before in the final season of Game of Thrones, they are even rumored to have had a falling out with Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin. But is there any truth to those rumors?

We shall see, for in this editorial, @AndreEinherjar will first cover just who Benioff and Weiss really are and how they ended up with Game of Thrones in the first place, before revealing exclusive new information about their very real falling out with Martin, and how season 8 could plummet so badly in quality.
