this is a pretty detailed how to and references slight customization using washers as spacers on the inner side of the knuckle that holds the caliper. this is an option to replace the stock two piston calipers that provide underwhelming brake performance
at the time of this video upload the calipers where were $130 to $150 per side for OE/GM branded.
watch to avoid the missteps I made as the passenger side I got done in under an hour, fully operational even with the banjo bolt crush washers giving me fits with removal...because of what I learned from this driver's side install.
