""Gigglemug" is led by guitarist Bjørn Vidar Solli and drummer Hermund Nygård, and includes Tim Collins on vibraphone and Daniel Franck on double bass.

Gigglemug started as a band in 2016 with a tour in Norway and is now finally out with their debut album "Weisenheimer", which contains 9 new compositions from the band's members. They are firmly rooted in the jazz tradition, but also freely follow their musical inclinations and go wherever inspiration takes them. Although there are more traditional elements, this music could not sound like this at any other point in time than here and now.

Solli knows the wonderful vibraphonist Tim Collins from his time in New York and they have previously recorded one album and done 4 tours together in Norway. The unique chemistry that arose when the four were together for the first time in 2016 was something they wanted to further develop and document on record in the years since - and now with "Weisenheimer" the rest of the world can finally hear what this is all about …"
