حرفةٌ قديمةٌ من زمنِ الأجدادِ
تناقلوها بعزمٍ، وجدٍ واجتهادِ
من مروي الأثريةِ تسري للبلادِ
أوانٍ فخارية تنفعُ العبادِ
وأجمل الفخارِ تُبدِعُه الأيادي
بكلِّ إتقانٍ وشغفٍ في ازديادِ
صنعةُ البسطاءِ من أهلِ البوادي
بعيدًا عن الآلاتِ وضجيج السُوادِ
حرفتُهم يعملون فيها بحبٍّ وودادِ
من جيلٍ إلى جيلٍ إرثٌ وامتدادِ

تعد صناعة الفخار من الحرف التراثية في الولاية الشمالية فقد تم تداولها منذ عهد الحضارة الكوشية وحتى الآن، ورغم وجود بعض التغييرات الجمالية إلا أن الأواني الفخارية حافظت على أصالتها وعراقتها وجمعت بين أصالة الماضي وجمال الحاضر، سلسلة أيادي التراث مع علا محمد محجوب، سلسلة أفلام وثائقية قصيرة تتحدث عن محترفي وصانعي التراث.

From generation to generation, a legacy and extension
The pottery industry is one of the traditional crafts in the Northern State, having been practiced since the era of the Kushite civilization until now. Despite some aesthetic changes, clay pots have maintained their authenticity and heritage, combining the originality of the past with the beauty of the present. "Heritage Hands" with Ala Mohamed Mahjoub is a series of short documentary films that talk about heritage artisans.
