Dragon Quest II - PART 7 - Final Boss // Switch, No Commentary, Sprite Overhaul Mod

Today we find Midenhall Castle (?!), do some final EXP grinding, and take on the final boss: Hargon!

That does it for this run of DQ 2. I really liked this remake though I wish this version had animated battles like the DS remakes. Most of the challenge of the game came at the back end of the story. Luckily, the quick-save and exit spells made it slightly easier this time.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line is set 100 years after Dragon Quest. This time the offspring of the original game's Hero are charged with stopping the evil occultist Hargon.

Dragon Quest II is a role-playing game and sequel to the original Dragon Quest. It was initially released for the Famicom in Japan on January 26, 1987. It would later be released in North America in 1990 as Dragon Warrior II. The 2019 Switch version is based on the Super Famicom and Mobile remakes.
