Come check out our sweet potato harvest. We had a much better crop than last year! Next year we plan to create a couple more beds worth of crops. These are the Georgia Jets variety. I think next year we will go back to the Beauregard variety.
We have a heavy clay soil and have reaped the rewards by digging most of it out and backfilling with peat moss, top soil, and cow manure. Lots of watering over the hot summer months!
