Castellón de la Plana, capital provincial de Castellón, una de las tres que conforman la Comunidad Autónoma Valenciana en el Reino de España.
Nace como ciudad en el siglo XIII (1251) gracias a la carta fundacional que le otorga el rey Jaime I de Aragón en la que se permite a los habitantes
de la zona trasladarse del área montañosa en la que vivían a la planicie, donde actualmente se encuentra la ciudad, curiosamente es la capital de la segunda provincia más montañosa de España después de Asturias.

It was born as a city in the 13th century (1251) thanks to the founding charter granted by King James I of Aragon in which the inhabitants were allowed of the area to move from the mountainous area in which they lived to the plain, where the city is currently located, curiously it is the capital of the second most mountainous province in Spain after Asturias.
