MUSEO DE CERA - "NUNCA CRUZA EN ROJO" (Music video)

In a Madrid that has always boasted of lineage bands and a global scene saturated with “new” acts sounding like reheated copies of degraded copies, Museo de Cera appear—or rather hide—to proclaim themselves a “super-anti-group” that seems to exist solely to remind us that Punk doesn’t need polishing, justification, or updating. Their debut "Ultra / Velo", which gathers their two EPs impossible to listen to with not helmet, is a painstakingly honest compilation of inherent Punk for no reason at all, which, without aiming to convince anyone, might at some point serve as survival gear in the current maelstrom of apparent monotonous decay—immune to any museum nostalgia and utterly impervious to any trendy fad.
Nine tracks, with no leitmotif other than “punk to punk”, that have been crafted by four unidentified habitual suspects from the capital, boasting a huge insanely criminal record of sonic disobedience. Falling into every applicable cliché—sharp, fast, and direct—which, without any visible hierarchy, can be especially irritating when vocals are taken over by their keyboardist, and, when it suits them, capable of being downright "weird"—be careful nowadays with using this term—up to the point of sounding like they were recorded in a padded room by people just freed from their shackles.
P.S. Never run red lights, recycle, and be good to your neighbors—being punk has nothing to do with the opposite of all that!
