Lord of Surreality

The denizens of the Dream and Nightmare realms are constantly in conflict with one another. The world wedged between their realms, known as Surreality, has been facing the backlash of their tug-of-war for centuries, slowly tearing apart at the seams, causing a rift in space-time. Vex, the Lord of the Surreal realm, has grown more corrupted and unstable as time passes. What was once a relatively peaceful, curious deity, has degraded into an unstable, vengeful, power-hungry demigod with little to no moral compass.

And yet, Vex does not crave destruction; they desire for unification. Assimilation of all realms, harmonization of all forms of life, so that needless warring can come to an end; so that the gods of the Dream and Nightmare realms can 𝙥𝙖𝙮 for the pain and mental torment they caused Vex and Surrealist entities. So what if it shatters everyone's minds? What's a little insanity compared to unlocking all knowledge of the Multiverse?
