04/12/25 - Primer Ferromex AC44C6M and more in Mount Vernon, Illinois

For a few hours, I stayed in the Mount Vernon area not knowing what to expect. While trying to find LSG54 working at General Tire I was able to catch a late UP MNLCH meeting him. After that, I found myself at Pumphouse road after missing MLDYC near Bonnie. As it was waiting on a southbound, NS 168 went on by and then ZYCEG came by with a huge surprise. FXE 4910 which was supposed to be an AC44C6M for NS ended up on the MTV sub still wearing its primer paint. This was my first time seeing one of these and I thought it was awesome. MLDYC finally got on the move as ZYCEG was still going by to end the short few hours in Mount Vernon. Enjoy!
