Video showing current progress on recreating the Stour and Colne Valley lines between Marks Tey and Shelford, along with the Bury St Edmunds branch from Long Melford, the colne valley line via Halstead and the Saffron Walden branch.
This video covers the Bartlow to Audley End, section. The recreation is centred on the period around 1959 - 1960, just before there were any major curtailments to service, however some sidings had already been removed in the mid 1950s.
The video starts as we load up before leaving Bartlow platform 3
The video also includes a brief fly around each station as we drive down the route, before completing this leg of the journey at Audley End.
