At the January 13, 2024 Montgomery County Board of Elections board meeting the board granted a 4% pay raise & a $1,500 merit award by 3 of 4 members.
At the same meeting constituent-voter expressed concern regarding the delay he has experienced in his public records request being fulfilled. What you would expect as a response from a board of elections director would be
"Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Will look into this and get back to you."
Instead director Rezebek responded that this was an “abuse of election officials” and went on to attack the credibility of the requestor.
This is a Director undeserving of the authority given to him and a Board that is not holding him accountable for multiple failures recognized at the OH Supreme Court and SoS office.
