A beautiful, melodic ballad that has survived many generations and continues to be recognized and requested. Written by Billie Holiday and Arthur Herzon, Jr. this American jazz standard has won the Grammy Hall of Fame Award and many other prestigious honors through the decades Ms Holiday was the first to record the song in 1941 with recordings following almost every year since by many other artists.
