১৯৭৯ সালের বিপ্লবে পতন ঘটে শাহ মোহাম্মদ রেজা পাহলভির। রাজতন্ত্রের অবসান হয় ইরানে। কিন্তু ৪৬ বছর পর, আবারও আলোচনায় সেই রাজবংশ। গণআন্দোলনে ইরানের রাজপথে শোনা যাচ্ছে রেজা পাহলভির নাম।
