This video presents the experimental implementation of three control strategies—PID, Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC), and Model Predictive Control (MPC) based on a NARX neural network model—applied to a two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) helicopter system. The setup includes a real laboratory-scale helicopter equipped with brushless DC motors, encoders, and current sensors to measure pitch and yaw positions in real time.
The study focuses on the design, modeling, and real-time control of the system to evaluate how different control algorithms handle nonlinear dynamics. Each controller is designed and implemented experimentally to control the pitch and yaw angles of the helicopter under identical conditions
