Ok my champion. I'm sure many of you also feel like Roger Federer is the best tennis player of all time. He's my favorite player. And I think many of you as well would feel the same way. So today we're going to go through a Forehand lesson with Roger Federer and what I've learned from Roger Federer. The first step I want you guys to see and notice is look at his turn. He has his left hand on the racket for a lot longer than most other players. What this does is it helps him to turn more and the racquet is also high next to him, which helps with momentum. Only after he's turned all the way does he release his racket and then starts accelerating into the ball. Secondly, also make very sure that you spot how he drops his racket. Before contact point. He does have a lag motion, just before contact the Butt of the racquet faces the ball, and then he can accelerate into the ball. Secondly, notice how he's wrist goes over the ball, rips over the ball like a window wiper. He doesn't break his wrist. He keeps his wrist strong, and goes from right to left over the ball to generate more spin and momentum. And then lastly, as we all know Roger Federer he's known for keeping his head still watching the ball all the way until contact point. However, this is very hard to copy. Do not try and copy Roger Federer's forehand, especially trying to watch the ball all the way onto the strings because this could backfire. What you can do though, is focus on just keeping your head still and balanced and maybe from starting with your left shoulder touching your chin to finishing with your right shoulder touching your chin. Enjoy this forehand lesson with Roger Federer.
