Transactional SMS are automated messages sent to customers in response to specific actions, such as making a purchase or signing up for a service. Once a positive rating has been submitted and the "send transactional SMS" feature has been set up, the customer will receive follow-up messages regarding their feedback. These transactional messages are an essential part of customer service and can significantly improve customer satisfaction.

To set this up, you first need to work on the feedback page settings in Kiosk or Tablet mode and fill out the client details. A crucial reminder is that the transactional SMS option will only be visible after checking the "Record Name and Phone" in the feedback page settings. Once you're done with the feedback page settings, proceed to the positive review setup, where you'll need to select "Send a Transactional SMS" in the "Send Reviewer to" section. This action will trigger the follow-up SMS whenever a positive rating is received.

After completing the positive review setup, proceed to the transactional SMS settings, where you can customize and edit the template. Make any necessary changes to the template text and use placeholders to personalize your messages. The input selection dropdown allows you to choose options such as SMS marketing, feedback URLs, or directories (one, two, or three) to appear on the page. You can also schedule the time delay for sending the message, with options like immediately, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, or 5 hours.

After making all the changes, click save. An additional feature is that when a directory is chosen in the input selection of transactional SMS, it automatically records the date the review was collected, the directory used, and the reviewer's details. These details will then appear in the feedback directory review inbox.
