溪南寮興安宮金獅陣為西港香科三年才會出陣，經過金獅學會年輕成員與教練們的努力，這段時間的成長讓這些孩子把這個傳統的武陣變化成轉向舞臺表演，改變一般人對傳統武陣不好的印象，然而工商業社會的進步，人口老化與新成員的招募不易，教練們更深入校園無私奉獻推廣教授金獅陣技藝，傳承教練的初衷是要把金獅陣文化留下來。經過了20年小成員長大了，他們到學校教學、到處去表演，發現他們已經把教練的這些精神做更好的傳承…
The Golden Lion Array of Sing An Temple in Si Nan Liao is featured in the Sigang Festival, which is a triennial event. In an attempt to change people’s general impressions of martial array troupes, the young members and coaches of the Golden Lion Hall have worked hard to train children and transform traditional martial array formations into stage performances. However, owing to industrial, economic, and social advances as well as population aging, it has been difficult to recruit new members. Therefore, the coaches started to devote their time to promoting and teaching the art of the Golden Lion Array at schools, with the intention of preserving this traditional culture. As the young members of the training hall have all grown up 20 years later, they started to teach at schools and perform in venues. At this point, they realized that they have already passed down the spirit of this art from the coaches, even in a better way.
