A short walk on Bochastle Hill in the area of Kilmahog at Callander in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. We'll be looking at two ancient features: Samson's Stone and the Dunmore hillfort, said to have been occupied by a great Pictish leader long long ago. Both the stone and the hillfort sit above the waters of Eas Gobhain as they flow to or from the reservoir of Loch Venachar, and views of the surrounding mountainous area are stunning.
Throughout the video the mountain of Ben Ledi is always prominent, in this part of Scotland that is probably the most beautiful area in the whole world.
