This is the "Air Melter" of the Town Hall 18 meta. By combining the single-target burn of Inferno Dragons with the tanky, high-DPS Dragon Riders, and the distraction power of the Totem Spell, you can neutralize the most lethal TH18 defenses like the Monolith and the Guardian.

​The air meta has a new king! In this video, we’re looking at the Inferno Rider Totem Smash. This strategy is currently dominating the Top 500 Legend League because it solves the "Single-Target Problem."

​By using Totem Spells to reset the beams of the Monolith and Single Infernos, your Inferno Dragons can reach their max-tier damage, while your Dragon Riders pick the base apart defense-by-defense.

​🧿 Why This Strategy is Broken:


​The "Reset" Mechanic: The Totem Spell resets the charge-up damage of Single-Target Infernos and the Monolith. Your Inferno Dragons can stay on a target indefinitely while the defense is busy hitting a Totem.

​Guardian Distraction: The new TH18 Guardian Defense (Longshot mode) can normally snip air troops from across the map. A well-placed Totem forces it to waste its shots, protecting your riders.

​Speed & Power: This is one of the fastest attacking armies at TH18. Dragon Riders focus on defenses while Inferno Dragons melt high-HP buildings like the Town Hall and Clan Castle.



​⚔️ The 3-Step Execution:


​The Funnel: Use your Barbarian King and Archer Queen on one corner (use the Flame Flinger on the other if the base allows) to create a narrow lane.

​The Air Surge: Deploy your Balloons in a line, followed by your 10–12 Dragon Riders and 2–3 Inferno Dragons. Send the Grand Warden and Minion Prince immediately behind them.

​The Totem Blanket: As your army enters the range of the Monolith or Town Hall, start dropping your Totem Spells one by one. Place them directly in front of your lead troops. Space them out every 3–4 seconds to keep defenses permanently distracted.
