Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The forecast called for sun, sweat, and a splash of adrenaline—so naturally, we set our sights on Cavinti Falls in Pagsanjan, Laguna, via the verdant gateway of Pueblo El Salvador Nature Park.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a choice:
Option A: channel our inner action heroes by hiking and rappelling down to the falls, or
Option B: cruise upriver like chill explorers in a canoe, shooting the rapids with style.
We aimed for the hybrid package: hike in, paddle out. But fate (and the unavailability of boatmen) had other plans. Canoe dreams deferred, we laced up and committed to the leg-powered route—every mossy step, near-vertical stairs, and vine-draped cliff whispering “adventure.”
Fair warning: the hike’s no joke. It’s a stair-studded, thigh-burning descent that’ll test your relationship with gravity. Hope your knees came pre-installed with backup batteries (hehe).
🎥 Relive the whole journey in our FPV video—from lush rainforest trails to the dramatic reveal of the falls. It’s like a nature doc… but with more grunts and giggles, and I almost slipped down the steep stairs at 09:42 💀
