I made a special 3D printed jig to hold cheap used KX85 power valves at the correct angle and orientation to trim them to fit the KX100 bore size. Use all safety precautions. I am not liable for your actions. Drill presses are NOT meant for this kind of operation and there are inherent risks when running this kind of operation.
"But why not just buy new ones?"
Because they are unnecessarily expensive.
