Man arrested for having a pet alligator

Brooklyn, Ohio -- Police received reports that there was a loose alligator in a Brooklyn home. Police arrived and were informed that the man took the alligator to the gas station.
Police caught up to the man and the man informed police that he was in possession of a "dwarf caiman" which is a subspecies of alligator.
The man, later identified as Delonte Carter, was charged with the following:
Certain animals prohibited
Prohibit of animals in furtherance of criminal activity
We are not sure on the basis for the second charge, but if we had to guess it was due to the woman at the end of the video claiming the house was getting destroyed. (this is an assumption, not fact)
He has plead not guilty.
