At about 4:54 is the recording of Aapo Juhani, done on September 28, 1938 in Calumet Michigan. That evening, Alan Lomax would travel up the road to Mohawk, to record my grandfather Kusti Simila. Unfortunately, he only recorded the audio, and is not on this clip.
