National Peoples Party (NPP) chief Murtaza Jatoi has said that if the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) loses power, people will come out on the streets to celebrate and distribute sweets. Talking to the media outside a court in Larkana, Murtaza Jatoi said that if free and fair elections are held, it will become clear what the actual performance of the PPP has been.

He said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto presented his party’s performance in Islamabad, but the people of Sindh are well aware of the ground realities. “The people of Sindh know what the real performance is,” he remarked.

Murtaza Jatoi further stated that Sindh has never witnessed such destruction in the last 50 years as it has seen during the 17 years of PPP rule. He reiterated that transparent and fair elections would expose where the Pakistan Peoples Party truly stands politically.
