On June 1st, 2020 I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and Thyroid Eye Disease. On June 22nd- I had a total thyroidectomy.
Graves has no cure, and is a life long disease that I will need to be careful with my entire life.
This is my journey up until my surgery- how I found out I had Graves, my symptoms, and the treatment options I explored. I will make a video about the surgery in a separate video as it has been an eventful past two days. If you have any questions you’d like me to answer about my TT surgery, drop them in the comments!
I am always looking to hear and learn from other people’s experiences with this disease and would to love to hear from you below if you have Graves/ Hyperthyroidism / TED/ Hypothyroidism/ any other thyroid troubles.
