The Palyul Retreat Center is located near McDonough, in New York State. This center was purposely built for to conduct classes on ancient practices of meditation and prayer as practiced by Himalayan Buddhists, providing a perfect opportunity for individuals to learn and grow in their spiritual journey.
The center was founded by His Holiness Pema Norbu Rinpoche (“Penor Rinpoche”), the late master of the profound path of meditation known as Dzogchen. His Holiness’ aim was to make the ancient teachings of wisdom and compassion—passed down in an unbroken lineage from Shakyamuni Buddha to the great masters who brought them to Tibet—available to all who wish to learn and practice them.
