The seventh of a BBC radio series of nine programmes introduced by Ivor Keys, each focusing on a different English cathedral. This edition was broadcast on 21 August 1981, although it was actually recorded in 1979. It featured the choir of Durham Cathedral, directed by Richard Lloyd, with Assistant Organist Alan Thurlow. Unfortunately, the recording is slightly truncated.
