Two Fixes, One Dog, and a Deadline We Couldn't Beat

This week we tackled our RV flooring renovation, and it didn't go as planned. We started with the perfect flooring...until we realized it was way over budget. Cue a last-minute flooring return, a new plan, and a puppy recovering from surgery--all at the same time! It was a full-on RV flooring fiasco (we picked one perfect for our RV DIY project, only to find it almost a home renovation fail! With only a bruise to our pride, we returned the wrong flooring, found the local store to be kind and understanding (yay for shopping local!), and were back on track. Let's not forget that we are renovating with pets, which brings its own set of challenges! RV life with a dog is worth it, though, and both we and the dogs found the progress to be well on its way to a satisfying DIY transformation.
