The Last Lullaby Pt. 1: A Snowfur and Thistleclaw Warriors Animatic

Song from Centaurworld Season 2 in case any of ya'll don't want spoilers!


The moment I heard this song, I knew it fit SOME couple in Warriors. For this, I decided that the best couple for this would be Snowfur and Thistleclaw.

We never actually hear from Snowfur when it comes to the horrendous actions of her former mate. Ultimately, I believe she had no indication that Thistleclaw was this monstrous character nor did she believe Bluefur's words until when she went to Starclan. Not believing it at first, she was in a state of denial for a long time until she saw what he did to Spottedleaf.

In this AU, Snowfur and Spottedleaf become close in Starclan and Snowfur ultimately agrees that it would be the best course of action for him to permanently be killed.

I don't like placing this scene I made during The Last Hope, as I think it would fit better for Snowfur to process Spottedleaf's second death a little bit before ultimately getting to kill Thistleclaw.

In this video, Snowfur encounters Thistleclaw already partially injured. She sings to him her pain, her grief, and her anger. Thistleclaw attempts to manipulate her, but ultimately to his shock and pain he realizes that Snowfur will be the one to kill him.

This is not meant to romanticize their relationship. This is meant to show Snowfur's pain knowing that the man she wanted to grow old with was such a horrible person. This is meant to be Snowfur's redemption and her closure.


As stated earlier, song is from Centaurworld Season 2. It's called The Last Lullaby Part 1.
