The Tunnel Trails in San Diego's Los Penasquitos Canyon are a pretty mellow trail system, but great for a fun after-work lap or for a beginner looking to improve their skills. These trails are narrow and wrap between (and below) the surrounding trees, so you'll want to watch your bars and your helmet - I've hit my head more than a few times. They're a pretty unique ride with some fun flow, which makes them one of my go-to's when down in Southern California. Be sure to hit The Shire trail on your ride, it's my favorite in the area.
