Today we're touring the Glore Psychiatric Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri, which delves into the history of mental health treatment, along with the history of Missouri asylums like State Hospital #2, formerly known as State Lunatic Asylum #2. We learn about lobotomies as well as electroconvulsive therapy and more (plus some 17-19th century "treatments" like burning at the stake). Definitely an unusual and at times distressing museum.
