This twelve-tone work uses two rows (one based upon ascending diminished-seventh chords & the other based on ascending augmented triads) and explores the flexibility of both rows while expressing an act of betrayal, its just vengeance, and the lingering indignation that doesn't subside. The first movement, "Betrayal", uses the row built from diminished-seventh chords. The second & shortest movement, "Vengeance", uses the row built from augmented triads. The final movement, "Indignation", uses both in a back-&-forth push-&-pull rondo structure. I don't expect this piece to become any kind of standard, but I like how it turned out.....
